Sandie is our lightweight, breezy & floaty dress of dreams. Large billowing sleeves with elasticated cuff, self fabric ties to adjust the high waist and a super full skirt with side pockets. Very cool, comfortable and fabulously gorgeous.
This dress is just perfect for for a coffee date or picnic with pals, wear her with trainers or dress her up with a tulle petticoat and heels for an evening out. In the cooler months make her out of linen and layer her over a polo neck jumper.
This is a PDF pattern. You will receive a link to download the digital files in your confirmation email after purchase. The PDF file includes - print at home pattern 36 pages (A4, US letter) 12 pages for the booklet and 2 x A0 pages if you use a printers (I can highly recommend CLCPrints)
Skill level - Intermediate or adventurous beginner - Go on, give it a go!
Suitable fabrics - Light to medium weight wovens, eg poplin, lawn, chambray, linen, preloved duvet covers.
Notions - 10mm flat elastic for the cuff

After you have purchased your pattern, you will be emailed a link to download. The file will have sewing/garment make-up instructions and a pdf pattern in your chosen size to print. The first page of the pattern will illustrate how the tiled sheets fit together.
When you print, be sure you have selected “actual size” do not scale. To check the pattern will print correctly, start by printing page 2 - this page features a test square 2cm x 2cm that you can print and measure to check you are printing the correct size.
Each tile/page features a number, please look at the diagram to see how the pages fit together. Trim off one long side and one short side of each sheet. Stick the sheets together in rows, overlapping so the edges of the tiles match and the black triangles meet to form diamonds.
Then either cut around the pattern pieces in your size or trace them off and you are ready to start making your very own Sandie dress.
