Coal and Candyfloss was started by me, Sally Jones in 2021. I design, draft the patterns, sew and pack all your orders myself. As well as hunting high and low for fabulous and unique fabrics I draw and design prints which are printed on cottons here in the UK.

I graduated from the world renowned Central St Martins College of Art and Design in London and have spent many years working in the Fashion industry designing for High Street Stores and Multiples both here in the UK, across Europe and China.

Having witnessed the growing wastefulness and throw-away ethic of ‘fast fashion’ and the damaging effect it has on the environment I made the decision to go back to my first love - creating hand made gorgeous clothes. My dream is to design and make fabulous, high quality clothing that can be worn time and time again.

There is nothing quite like finding a fabulous fabric and drafting a pattern for the dress of your dreams.
